This year the Holy Week Club explored God's Creation, caring for the environment and Jesus transforming lives. Entitled 'Waste Watchers', it was based on an 'eco friendly' approach to St Jonh's Gospel !!
We learnt and laughed as we watched the 'bin men' and 'Parky' cope with litter and rubbish in their park but eventually make it a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy.
We made great things during the arts & crafts session, did dance, acrobatics, made an Easter Garden and lots lots more!
In 2006 approximately 70 Junior Church children & helpers took part in a Holy Week club based on the Scripture Union resouces titled Pyramid Rock . The children moved to the Old Testement to look at the life of Joseph with the help of 'Captain Ketchup'. The children used music, drama, dance, art and craft and baking to help their learning and to have fun together. They built a 'Garden of Gesthemane' with the Curate and were all thrilled by the appearance of 'Mummy' !!
In 2005 approximately 70 Junior Church children & helpers took part in a Holy Week club based on the Scripture Union resouces titled Seaside Rock . The children followed Peter as he became the 'rock of the church'. The children used music, drama, dance, art and craft and baking to help their learning and to have fun together. They built a 'Garden of Gesthemane' with the Curate and who will forget Heather and Feather doing the weather !!

The children followed Jesus' path to Jerusalem through learning and activities. They used music, drama, dance, art and craft and baking to help their learning and to have fun together.
